I AM

Last Monday - July 30, as usual, I was late in my Computer class. Everyone of my classmates was so busy writing, so I asked one of them; "Uy classmate, unsa diay buhaton?" Then told me that our instructor instructed us to write a poem. I was shocked! Naa ba diay Computer class nga magbuhat ug poem? Aha ko gibikil nimu Sir Ian? Agay! HAHAAHAH!

The poem I wrote was taken from my Intercultural Communication journal. It was not yet that well-written, so it was really a fate to made it whatsoever-good-one. Kanang dli bitaw ko maulaw mabasa sa uban. AHAHAHA! Okay, lets move on.

So here it is:

I AM

I am from a peaceful town – Jasaan.
I am from Mindanao, that born from bravery.
I am from Philippines, that the people are hospitable.
I am from a galaxy that the aliens love to stroll.

I am from a family who is religious and loves to eat.
I am from a mother who loves to teach.
I am from a father who is hardworking.
I am from a friend who values friendship and love.

I am from the beautiful creations.
I am from God’s hand.
I am from YFC who values freedom, friendship, faith and fun.
I am from the Technology Communication Management men.

I am Christenn Suzanne B. Cabello,
I am from the ones who crack silly jokes.
I am from the ones who sometimes get bored.
I am from the ones who choke on her own words.
Lastly, I am from the believers that true love grows.

Violalala! :)) Read what I did last Monday. If you just only know.. Kidd. It is from 10 lines on my journal to 17 lines, just for my Computer class. HAHAHA! At least, it was improved! Oh my! This poem really talks/shows who and what I am from. (Insert BIG smile here.) I know I am not blessed of being a good writer, but see! Spell E-F-F-O-R-T.
I am so contented of myself, and I tell you, I really don't care of what other people say about me. As long as I don't step on their shoes. :))) I am. Happy. Contented. Hopeful. Being Loved.

Good Day! :*

District Youth Day!

As a member of a youth religious group - Youth for Christ in our community. There was a time that the Balingasag District has it own District Youth Days to celebrate/make. And the YFC Community was given a task to host the program on the first night. Everyone of the Sector B4, Cluster 3 was so busy preparing  on the said night. As we know, all the youths from Binuangan to Tagoloan were expected to be there. It was a big responsibility of our group that we were going to entertain them for the night.

Here are some photos to help me explain well what's this blog all about. :))

By this event, I have observed that if all were going to gave their hands in helping a certain event or presentations, trust me, it will be successful.Even though, there were problems on the way but thanks God for giving us patience and strength to make this event possible. And thanks God also for giving us the opportunity to handle things like this.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!

P.S. A special thanks to Mary April P. Ganzan - the District Youth Coordinator and my ever dearest friend, thank you so much for the exposure. You know nah Mare! :)))

Davao With ♥

Tita Cecelia: Cute, ali mo diri ni Michelle ugma ha? Maayo man nang ugma kay gamay ra man pasahero.
Me: (naguol..) Hah? Sure ka Tita? Christmas man ugma?
Tita: Sure ko. Ali namo diri Davao ugma dayon.

Last December 25, 2011. me and my cousin Michelle were on our way to Davao City on the day of Christmas! Whoooahh! As in, on Christmas Day! We left our family at home celebrating Christmas Day. Anyways, back to main topic. Harhar! It was our first time with Michelle to go to Davao City, only the two of us, no elder companion. It was really a looooooooooong travel, we left Cagayan de Oro at exactly 10 o'clock in the morning and arrived there at 7 o'clock in the evening. Our journey going there was really memorable, we ride on an air-conditioned bus. The things we do inside the bus were; looking outside the window (i lurveee the views..), then talk with each other, then go to sleep, then watch movies aired inside the bus. Atlast! the looooong wait was over. We arrived at Davao Terminal and sadly, my Tita was not there yet because she was stuck at the traffic. When she arrived, I really really taught that we were going to ride on a taxi, instead, on their public jeepney/multicab. Silly!

On that time, we went to Gaisano Mall to eat and to buy some toiletries, personal things and anything that can be found on the supermarket. I was so amazed when we went to Gaisano Mall's rooftop! The lights was breath-taking! Look at these photos:

Me and my cousin Michelle.. :))

My Tita Cecelia :))

First day, we went to Samal Island at noon. And at night,we visited places full of LIGHTS! We went to People's Park, Camella Homes and Marina to experience how they celebrate their Christmas Season. :))) Photos: ↓

First Stop: Samal Island - The island full of unspoiled beaches. Many tourist go there to witness how clear the water is, how white the sand and how accommodating and entertaining the people there.

Samal Island for afar..

Safety Vest!

Next Stop: People's Park

The Dutertes...

Third Stop: Camella Homes - They have great designs of houses. The subdivision was really have a good security!

Last Stop: Marina - I really don't have any description about them. The great thing there was there were may mascots! The photos speak.

Meet Mickey Mouse.. :))

Second day, we went to:
* Ramon Magsaysay Park - the park was so big that young adults went there and go biking, skating, jogging and even strolling. Outside the park, there are stalls for those who wants to buy DURIANS! Sila Tita and Michelle ra ang nahimuot ug kaon. :p

The famous - Durian.

* China Town - murag Cogon diri sa Cagayan de Oro. Hastang baratoha sa baligya! HAHAAHA! :D

Third Day: We went to Abreeza Mall. We were so shock because the things we found inside were all EXPENSIVE if you are going to buy! Whoooah! ^_^

The next days, we just stay at home. We were so tired strolling around Davao City.

The Grand Regal Hotel, diha mi nagstay sa Davao City. Bitaw, I'm kidding! Likod bitaw anang hotel mi nagstay kai. :DD

Davao Escapade was really memorable. There's a big difference between Cagayan de Oro, the people there are really following rules and regulations. For example, when crossing the street, you have to push some buttons for the vehicle drivers  know that someone is crossing. Here in Cagayan de Oro, people are used to what they call "Jaywalking". It is because I am able to went other places beyond Jasaan (hometown) and Cagayan de Oro. I am able know that Davao was one of the cleanest place in the Philippines, I am able to experience some adventures, meet new cultures and values. :)) See you soon Davao City!

P.S. Sorry kaayo sa daghang photos. I can't help it eh?!Thanks to my Tita Cecelia for being our tourist guide and photographer. :)))
